1991 Toyota MR2 This 1991 Toyota MR2 features a 1992 2nd gen JDM 3SGTE engine, upgraded with a honed/bored block (.50 over), JE forged pistons, and Eagle H-rods for enhanced performance. It also has a new Stage 2 ATS Hybrid clutch and steel flywheel, as well as a gasket rebuild kit including the head gasket. The car is equipped with a custom tig-welded hot pipe, ATS side mount intercooler with 8-inch Spal fan, and a black, powder-coated intake manifold and valve cover. It includes a Berk cat-less exhaust and downpipe, and a stock, rebuilt 2nd gen turbo (with an extra, rebuilt 3rd gen steel-wheel turbo included). Boost is controlled by a simple ball boost valve, and the fuel system features an Aeromotive stealth 340 fuel pump. Other notable upgrades include a Momo Commando steering wheel, TRD 2000 wide body kit, VIS carbon fiber hood, and off-brand carbon engine lid with hydraulic prop. The car sits on Rays Volk GT-P 2-piece wheels with new tires, and it also has a variety of custom modifications including a short shifter, power fold-in mirrors, and upgraded suspension components. While it does need some repair in areas like the hood and engine lid due to the nature of carbon fiber and fiberglass, it remains a strong, modified car with plenty of potential.
