1977 John Deere 2040

1977 John Deere model 2040. 40 Horsepower diesel tractor with only 362 hours on it. It has sat outside its entire life and hardly used. It had 325 hours on it when I got it. I have cleaned and flushed the hydraulics and had all of the hydraulic seals replaced. The brake master cylinder has all new seals as well. The drag link and tie rod ends are also new. The engine oil and filter are fresh. I just had the diesel injection pump serviced with a new seal kit installed by Diesel Controls in Hutchinson, KS. The rear tires are new. The front tires are probably the originals but they’re still holding air with tubes in them. All of the parts used are OEM John Deere except for one of the hydraulic lines which they no longer make. She starts immediately and purs like a kitten . This is a very nice tractor! It came from the family of the old man who bought it new but is no longer with us. I also have the original shop manual and operators manual for it.
