1963 Ford Thunderbird
This 1963 Ford Thunderbird Coupe is an exceptional example of classic American engineering, having never seen rain or snow and carefully maintained throughout its life. The car underwent a half-frame off restoration, completed in 2006, featuring a stunning 2-stage paint job in Steel Cities Gray. All repairs were made using new sheet metal, with no bondo involved. The engine was rebuilt and runs very strong, while the transmission was also professionally rebuilt. The car boasts stainless steel dual exhaust, stainless steel brake lines, and a complete new interior, including a custom dash from "Just Dashes." The exterior features new 15" Truspoke wire wheels, Diamondback radial tires with 2.5" whitewalls, and rechromed bumpers. A transistor AM/FM radio provides the perfect soundtrack, and the car comes with new red spinners (not yet installed). The car has been upgraded with a dual master cylinder, a more powerful alternator, and an Edelbrock aluminum intake with a Holley dual-feed carb. Additional enhancements include NOS Sun Tach, a Pertronix distributor, and many NOS parts such as front and rear bumpers, brake cylinders, and a master cylinder. For improved handling, Bilstein shocks (not yet installed) and heavy-duty sway bars have been added to the front and rear. The car's mileage is shown as 38,000, but it is likely closer to 138,000 miles. This Thunderbird is a true collector’s item, with extensive upgrades and enhancements that make it an incredible find for any classic car enthusiast.
