1949 Dodge B-Series Pickup
This 1949 Dodge B-Series Pickup is a true classic with original paint, offering a stunning patina and character developed over 75 years of natural aging. Rescued from a field in North Central Washington, the truck was originally a two-tone model with a green cab and black bed and running boards. It was well-optioned for its time, featuring a heater, radio, and a 4-speed transmission. While the original 218 engine was seized, it has been replaced with a donor 230 engine from a military M37 Power Wagon, though not rebuilt. The truck has also undergone several upgrades, including a front disc brake conversion, new kingpins, a custom drive shaft, new brake lines, and a refurbished seat. The truck sits on new 16-inch steel wheels wrapped in period-correct whitewall tires, and the bed has been fitted with fresh wood. Additionally, it has been converted to 12 volts, re-wired, and the heater has been updated. While the vehicle still requires some finishing touches, including interior work, new glass, weather stripping, and window installation, it comes with the rare and intact curved cab corner windows. This truck offers a great opportunity to own a beautifully restored piece of automotive history.
