This 2016 Freightliner Columbia Glider Kit is a well-maintained, one-owner truck, originally bought new in February 2018 and serviced regularly every 7,000 to 10,000 miles. Powered by a Detroit Series 60 500hp reman engine (not a Fitzgerald engine), it is paired with an Eaton 13-speed transmission and Eaton 355 full locking rears for superior performance. The truck features two beds, an air slide 5th wheel, and is equipped with brand-new Michelin XDNZ drive tires and Michelin Xline Energy Z+ steer tires. The drum brakes are still at 70% life. Recently in 2024, major work was completed, including replacement of all U-joints, a new all-aluminum radiator, air charger, fan clutch, belts, rod & main bearings, and 6-pack fuel injectors. Additionally, it’s equipped with a bunk heater for comfort during long hauls. The truck has averaged 6.5 mpg and has been driven at 62 mph for optimal fuel efficiency.
