2007 Monaco Diplomat 40SFT Class A Diesel Motorhome, powered by a 400hp 8.9L Cummins engine with only 21,415 miles! This low-mileage diesel pusher has been meticulously maintained and upgraded for a smoother, more stable driving experience. Since purchasing it in May 2023, I’ve made several modifications, including installing cross braces on the rear axle trailing arms, Watts linkages on both the front and rear axles, and a steering stabilizer. These upgrades significantly improve handling, reducing sway and making it easier to drive, even in strong winds. You can confidently steer with one hand, avoiding the lane-jumping behavior common in many diesel pushers without a tag axle.
The RV runs and drives flawlessly, with tires that have only 4,000 miles on them and a 2022 date stamp. The coach batteries were replaced in 2022, and the chassis batteries were just replaced in August 2023. Slide awnings were also replaced at that time. It features full-body Stone Mountain paint, a Roadmaster chassis, a backup camera, beautiful oak woodwork, Corian countertops, day and night shades, and a luxurious queen-size bed with a Sleep Number mattress in the master suite. The spacious interior offers a large wardrobe, making it ideal for extended trips or full-time living.
While everything works perfectly, I want to be transparent about a few minor issues: there are small leaks in two hydraulic pumps for the driver-side slideout and leveling jacks, and the fabric on the small blue couch has some melting due to a coffee spill. Additionally, there is some minor paint flaking and fading around the roof. New house batteries will be installed in October 2024 to ensure the coach is in top shape.
