1963 Buick Wildcat
This exceptionally rare Wildcat Coupe from Oregon is nearing completion as an impressive "restomod" project. It features a potent 430 C.I.D. Electra engine producing 360 HP, paired with a TH 400 (1967) drivetrain. The vehicle has undergone substantial upgrades, including a rebuilt driveshaft, a new front disc brake conversion with dual master cylinder, new brake hoses, and rear drums and cylinders. The steering system has been thoroughly overhauled with a rebuilt column, steering box, center link, ball joints, front springs, a 1.25" sway bar, control arms, and custom shocks. Additionally, a new exhaust system (without a transverse muffler) enhances its throaty sound. The vehicle offers excellent steering, ride quality, and handling. To complete this outstanding restomod, it requires A/C, heating, a radio, and some interior finishing touches. The odometer reads 43,300 miles (unverified), and over $21,000 has been invested in the project. Unfortunately, due to an excess of vehicles, this one must be sold.
